Little Beak's Big Search
Little Beak was a sparrow. A small, brown sparrow. Chirp, chirp! He lived in a big, green tree. He loved to fly. Up, up, up! And down, down, down! But today, Little Beak was hungry. Very, very hungry. Chirp, chirp, chirp! His tummy rumbled. Grumble, grumble.
He looked for yummy seeds. He looked on the branches. No seeds. He looked on the leaves. No seeds. He flew to the ground. He hopped, hop, hop. He pecked, peck, peck. Still no seeds! Oh dear. Little Beak felt sad. Chirp, chirp. His tummy still grumbled.
The Forest Friends
Little Beak saw his friends. Жан-жануарлар! A fluffy squirrel, Pip. Pip, pip, pip! A busy ant, Anty. Zzzzzzz. A big, brown bear, Barry. Grrr, grrr. They were all playing. They were all happy. But Little Beak was hungry. Chirp, chirp. "Hello, Little Beak!" said Pip the squirrel. "Want to play?"
"No, thank you, Pip," said Little Beak. "I am too hungry. I cannot find any seeds." Pip looked around. Anty looked around. Barry looked around. No seeds! Oh dear. What to do?
A Special Dance
Then, Barry the bear had an idea. A big, clever idea! "Little Beak," he rumbled. "Can you do your special flying dance?" Little Beak loved his special flying dance. He flew high. He flew low. He twirled. He swirled. He made circles in the sky. Chirp, chirp, whee!
Little Beak began his dance. Up, up, up! Down, down, down! He twirled around the big oak tree. He swirled around the tall grass. The other animals watched. They clapped their paws and feet. Suddenly, a tiny seed fell from the oak tree. Plink! Then another! Plink, plink! The wind from Little Beak's wings had shaken them loose!
Little Beak stopped his dance. He saw the seeds! Many, many seeds! "Chirp, chirp, chirp!" he sang. He pecked, peck, peck. He ate the yummy seeds. His tummy was full! No more grumbles. He smiled. The animals smiled too. Little Beak was happy. And not hungry anymore. Chirp, chirp! What a happy day!
