Fantasy - Magical Tales express the people's dreams through characters in a fantastical imagery. It is believed that Fantasy - Magical Tales began to emerge in the early communal society. This can be observed from the remnants of very ancient social life found in tales. Another feature of Kazakh Fantasy - Magical Tales is their constant transformational process, meaning one genre shifts into another. For this reason, some of the Fantasy - Magical Tales have undergone genre changes, appearing as an intermediate genre between fantasy and everyday life tales. In some cases, Fantasy - Magical Tales narrate entirely everyday life events. The plots, poetics, and structures of Fantasy - Magical Tales have been significantly influenced by heroic epics. Many Fantasy - Magical Tales contain stable introductions and conclusions similar to those in heroic epics. Typically, the introduction of the plot narrates the story of the hero's elderly parents and their longing for a child: after not having children until old age, they pray to God for a child, spending nights at the shrines of saints and beseeching for help. The plot composition of Kazakh Fantasy - Magical Tales is not uniform. It encompasses common narratives shared among multiple peoples and nations. The plots, versions of neighboring nations' tales, and unique events of the Kazakh people serve as the foundation for these tales. This is not accidental. The Kazakh people have lived in close interaction and strong relationships with other nations throughout history. Although they originated in ancient times and preserved the manifestations of ancient epochs, Fantasy - Magical Tales depict the life and customs of the Kazakh people, reflecting their daily lives. The main hero of Fantasy - Magical Tales embodies the aesthetic ideals of the people's dreams. The main characters of Kazakh tales include hunters, warriors, younger siblings, fools, and other representatives of the oppressed masses seeking justice ("The Straw Man"). All of these are characters born from the people's dreams, representing a fantastical-historical phenomenon. In later times, as humanity transitioned to a tribal society, the people's dream became a warrior-hero who protects their tribe from foreign lands and invading foes. This image appears in several Kazakh tales. As the tribal society began to disintegrate, the dream shifted; now it was to support the traditions of the crumbling society and follow the ancestral path. Fantasy - Magical Tales closely approach life, glorifying the dreams of the masses and transforming them into the aesthetic ideals of the people.
