The Ertegiler.kz website and mobile application (hereinafter — "Platform") is committed to protecting users' personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and that it is not shared with third parties.

2. Data We Collect

The Platform may collect the following data:

  • Upon registration: name, email address (when signing in via Google OAuth — retrieved from your Google profile).
  • Usage data: pages viewed, stories read, content added to favourites.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device information.
  • For personal books and tales: the child's name, age, gender, interests and photo, uploaded by a parent or legal guardian.
  • For payments: Kaspi receipt details (amount, recipient, date and number) or Google Play purchase information.
  • Cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Operating and improving the Platform.
  • Managing your account.
  • Providing a personalised experience (favourites, language preferences).
  • Analysing site traffic and audience (in aggregated, anonymous form).

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell personal data and do not use children's photos for advertising. Data goes only to services a feature cannot work without: the child's photo and the parent's answers to the Google Gemini artificial intelligence service to make the book or tales; Kaspi receipts to the same service to read them; purchase information to Google Play and RevenueCat to process subscriptions. A photo is uploaded only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

5. Analytics Services

The Platform uses Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica analytics services. These services collect aggregated, anonymous usage statistics. They have their own privacy policies and process data according to their own terms.

6. Data Retention

Children's photos are kept until the parent deletes them or the account: they can be deleted in the profile on the site or in the books section of the app. Finished books stay. Personal data is retained until your account is deleted or for the period required by law. How to delete your account and which data is removed is described on the Account and data deletion page.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request the data collected about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Delete children's photos without deleting the account.
  • Delete your account.
