Zhirenshe replied without hesitation:
— The most precious thing is human life. Without life, wealth and fame have no value. Then the Khan asked his second question:
— What is the sweetest thing in the world?
— The sweetest thing is bread earned by honest work, — answered Zhirenshe.
— It gives people strength and joy. Finally, the Khan asked:
— And what is the worst thing in the world? After thinking for a moment, Zhirenshe said:
— The worst thing is injustice. Where there is no justice, people suffer and the land falls into ruin. The Khan was pleased with Zhirenshe’s answers and rewarded him generously. From that day on, Zhirenshe the Wise became a symbol of wisdom and justice among the people.
