The Protector of the Village: The Dragon Fairy Tale

Once upon a time in a certain land, there lived a giant serpent known as the Dragon (Aydahar). It was so long and powerful that it could even surpass mountains and rivers. However, this dragon had one special trait: it protected people from evil and only did good for them.

One day, a terrible misfortune befell the village. Dark clouds gathered in the sky, lightning flashed, and after the rain, a wicked giant appeared. The giant took over the entire village, frightening the people and attempting to seize their belongings. The village's heroes tried to fight the evil giant, but they were no match for it. The townsfolk were disheartened, unsure of what to do, and prayed to God for help.

At that moment, like the shining sun in the blue sky, the Dragon came from afar. Its eyes sparkled with flames, and its body glimmered. Seeing the giant, it immediately launched an attack. The giant, witnessing the Dragon's strength, began to feel afraid. However, the giant was cunning and tried to deceive the Dragon. It said, "I want to be your friend; let's rule the land together."

But the Dragon understood the giant's intentions. It replied, "My duty is to protect people from evil and to stand against wicked beings like you." Then they engaged in battle. The Dragon gathered its strength, breathed fire, engulfing the giant, and emerged victorious.

The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Dragon, honored it, and held a grand celebration. The Dragon, in turn, continued to visit the peaceful village repeatedly, protecting them and showing kindness. Since then, tales of the Dragon have been passed down from generation to generation, forever remembered in the land.
