Once upon a time, during the reign of Khan Janibek, there lived a poor old man named Kozhyr. He had three sons. As time passed, old age caught up with the man. He stopped working. Finally, he gathered his sons and said:
— I have grown old, and age has caught up with me. You have all matured. I no longer have the strength to earn a living. It is now your responsibility to find a way to support yourselves. Oh, my children! Work hard and find a livelihood. Come, tell me which of you will support me through your profession, - he says. The eldest son responds:
— You are right, father! I love farming. There is nothing wrong with that. Let my life be spent in agriculture. The middle son says:
— Besides farming, I would also like to tend to sheep. If I am given the chance, I would like to raise livestock. The youngest son says:
— Oh, father, if I were to deceive, even if it is wrong, I would still choose to trick others. Many people have their trades, but if I want to deceive, I will choose that path. The old man is pleased with his sons' responses.
— Well then, may Allah bless you all. My youngest, if your wish is to deceive, that is a unique profession that not everyone practices. May you also be successful in your endeavors. He raises his hands in blessing. After that, the eldest son takes up farming, the middle son begins to tend livestock, and the youngest son walks the path of deception. The deceiver has no fixed place; he wanders around, exploring the land.
