Unhappy rich man Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, a wealthy man lived alone. His only possessions were the livestock and money he had accumulated, which he cherished like a child. One day, he heard the cheerful laughter of his servant and was curious, so he circled around the servant's house to eavesdrop. However, he couldn't hear anything significant. The next day, he made the servant work hard until midnight without letting him go. Yet, the laughter he heard the day before repeated itself. Frustrated and impatient, the wealthy man thought, "This servant must be stealing from my treasure, that's why he's so happy at home." He kicked the door open and barged in. To his surprise, he found his servant playing with his two children, who were riding on his back as if he were a horse.
"You fool, you didn't work properly today! You must be tired from playing with these little brats all night!" he scolded.
"Master, when I see my two little ones, I forget about fatigue and worry, and I feel refreshed and renewed," the servant replied calmly.
"What a real fool!" the rich man exclaimed as he stormed out of the house, still unable to shake off his suspicion, thinking, "Did I arrive too late? Perhaps he hid the money he stole and is pretending to be innocent."
The next day, the servant worked diligently until dawn. However, he returned home without showing any signs of displeasure. The wealthy man stealthily followed him again and listened closely. He thought he heard the clinking of coins and the sound of silver coins being counted. He kicked the door open once more. When he saw his servant sleeping soundly with his two children beside him, he didn't know what to do. Silently, he left the house. Yet, his doubts remained. The next day, the cheerful and lively demeanor of the servant seemed to mock the wealthy man.
Finally, the wealthy man said, "Some money is missing from my treasure. No one else could have taken it, as you are always so cheerful. You must have hidden your money, which is why you seem content."
The servant replied, "Master, your situation is worse than that of a miserable slave. Every evening, you lurk around my house. My wealth consists of my two children, my beloved spouse, my health, and my strength. I pray to God not to deprive me of these riches from dawn until dusk. That is why I am happy and cheerful."
The wealthy man was left speechless, unable to respond. "Indeed, this servant is truly happy. He has no wealth to be envious of, unlike me. Has wealth brought me nothing but misery? My head is starting to ache." That day, the servant returned home early. The wealthy man watched as his two children ran out to greet him with envy in his eyes...
