Carlo Collodi

Carlo Collodi (1826-1880) was an Italian writer and journalist born in Florence. In addition to writing, he was also involved in politics. His fairy tale "The Adventures of Pinocchio," published in 1880, made Collodi famous worldwide. This work has been translated into 260 languages around the globe.
