Account and data deletion

This page covers the "Ертегілер — қазақ ертегілері" app on Google Play and the Ertegiler.kz website. They share one account, so deleting it removes your data from both.

1. In the app

  1. Open the app and go to the "Профиль" (Profile) tab.
  2. At the bottom of the page, tap "Аккаунтты жою" (Delete account).
  3. Confirm. The account is deleted immediately.

2. On the website

  1. Sign in to ertegiler.kz with Google.
  2. Open "My account" → "Profile".
  3. In the "Delete account" section, tick the box and press "Delete account".

3. By email

If you can't sign in, email business.ertegiler@gmail.com from the address linked to your account with the subject "Account deletion". We complete requests within 30 days and reply to you.

What is deleted

  • Name, email, Google ID, avatar and sign-in tokens.
  • Comments and reactions.
  • Favourite fairy tales and blog posts.
  • XP, coins, leaderboard position, reading history and badges.
  • Created fairy tales, drawings and personal books, including children's names and photos.

What is kept

  • Payment records (order code, amount, date and the email given at payment) for the period required by the accounting law of the Republic of Kazakhstan (usually 5 years), after which they are deleted.
  • Anonymous aggregated statistics that are not linked to you.

Comments posted without an account

To remove a comment you posted as a guest, send the fairy tale's title and the comment text to business.ertegiler@gmail.com.
